Taxes & Duties

Applicable taxes or import duties may apply depending on the origin of the item and the destination country. These charges are calculated at checkout where applicable.

Processing & Delivery Times

In-Stock Items:
Orders for in-stock items are typically processed within 3–6 business days. Once shipped, transit time is approximately 4–6 business days.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items:
Many of our pieces, especially large furniture and artwork, are custom or made to order. These items generally require 4-6  weeks for production, followed by 2–4 weeks for shipping. The estimated timeframe is listed on each product page.

You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. For multi-item orders, shipments may arrive separately with different tracking details.

*Due to their custom nature, all made to order pieces are final sale


Pre-Orders & Lead Times

Popular items often sell out before restock. We recommend placing a pre-order to reserve your item. Lead times vary by brand and item, and you’ll be notified within 48 hours of your order with an estimated ship date. We’ll keep you informed of any changes along the way.

Processing & Delivery Times

In-Stock Items:
Most in-stock pieces ship within 1–2 weeks of order receipt, unless otherwise stated. Shipping times are in addition to processing times.

We make every effort to ship in-stock items as quickly as possible. If you're unsure about an item’s availability, please contact us at info@maisonvogue.com and our team will be happy to confirm.

John Richard Collection:
If in stock, John Richard items typically ship within 2–3 weeks. Some items may ship earlier, depending on the manufacturer. If you are interested in a specific John Richard piece or need an estimated ship date, contact us at info@maisonvogue.com — we’re happy to provide details.

Shipping Services

We offer FREE curbside delivery across Canada and the continental United States (Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm).

Curbside Delivery Includes:

  • Parcel items: Delivered to your mailbox, front door, or curbside (no signature required).
  • Freight items: Delivered curbside with a required signature. The carrier will not bring items inside or upstairs. Customers are responsible for disposing of all packaging.

Our FREE curbside delivery is defined as below:

  • For parcel items, curbside delivery is defined as a no-signature required delivery to your mailbox, front door, or curbside.
  • For freight items, curbside delivery is defined as a signature-required curbside delivery. Curbside delivery carriers will NOT carry your delivery up stairs or enter your home under any circumstances.  Any packaging materials are up to the customer for disposal, not the shipping company (only White Glove at an additional cost)

Why Does it Say Free Shipping- Duties & Taxes Included! at checkout

Is shipping really free? What about taxes or duties?

Yes—Curbside Shipping is always free. The note you see at checkout simply explains possible tax or duty charges:

Within Canada: Applicable sales taxes are automatically added.

U.S. orders from Canadian brands (e.g., Sunpan): U.S. customers pay any required import duties.

Canadian orders from U.S. brands (e.g., Jonathan Adler, John-Richard): Canadian customers pay applicable taxes and duties.

These are tax and duty costs only—never shipping fees.

White Glove Delivery:
If you prefer in-home delivery, setup, and packaging removal, White Glove Service is available at an additional cost. Please contact info@maisonvogue.com before placing your order to arrange this service.

Alternatively, we can offer free delivery to a local White Glove depot in your region. You will be responsible for coordinating and covering the final leg of delivery from the depot to your home.


Important Notes

  • Please ensure elevator access is available for large item deliveries and that dimensions are confirmed in advance.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary.
  • Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes.
  • If your order exceeds $2000 USD and is crossing the border, U.S. Customs may require additional information. We will notify you if this applies.

Taxes, Duties & Currency

  • Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) by default and can be switched to US Dollars (USD) using the currency selector on our site.
  • Please note: pricing may fluctuate due to currency exchange rates. We are unable to offer retroactive price adjustments.
  • Canadian Orders: Sales tax is charged based on your province or territory. Depending on the item’s origin, additional duties may apply and will be calculated at checkout.
  • U.S. Orders: If your item is shipping from a Canadian vendor (Sunpan), there may be small duties and brokerage fees that will be calculated and applied at checkout.
    If your item is shipping from a vendor within the U.S., no duties will be charged.

Although Maison Vogue is a Canada-based company, our vendors are located across North America. As a result, depending on the origin of the item, additional duties and taxes may apply — both for Canadian and U.S. orders. All applicable fees will appear at checkout for full transparency.

  • International Orders: We do not currently ship outside Canada and the U.S. If you're located elsewhere and would like to place an order, please email us at info@maisonvogue.com for a quote.
  • For U.S. orders- only pertaining to the brand "Sunpan" (Canadian Brand)--any orders over $2000 shipping from Canada, U.S. Customs may request additional information. We’ll notify you if this applies to your shipment---this will only apply to the brand Sunpan as of now, all other brands are coming out of the US

Cancellations & Returns

  • Orders may be cancelled within 72 hours at no charge.
  • After 72 hours, a 20% restocking fee applies, and cancellations are subject to our Final Sale Policy.
  • Final Sale Items: Custom and made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be cancelled after 72 hours.
  • Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, notify us within 72 hours of delivery or pick-up to be eligible for a return or exchange.
