All our products are made of natural materials and thus will change over time subject to environmental factors like humidity, temperature, and placement. To maintain the look and integrity of each piece, we recommend following the guidelines provided below. In all cases, natural materials prefer simple cleaners and mild castile soap applied with a natural fiber cloth or sponge.

Keep covered during inclement weather and store indoors while not in use. When placing rattan outside, which we encourage, expect the solid rattan pole and rattan peel to grey and gather dirt, dust and moss. We recommend washing products with a high-pressure combination or water and soap flake or mild detergent. Use a sponge and WOCA Exterior Deep Cleaner if you are looking for an off-the-shelf product. Rattan will grey eventually if not refinished, but the structural integrity of the material is not diminished given how fibrous rattan is. Natural materials are expected to grey or patina over time.
