Wing’s Gilded Globes features a collection of eleven stainless steel orbs in various sizes overlain atop an ornate backdrop consisting of several sheets of gold leaf. Most of the orbs are enveloped in gold, matching the backdrop, while others still retain a silver sheen while giving off the illusion of being actively enveloped in gold. The gilded backdrop imbues the piece with textural interest when contrasted with the shiny metallic orbs, contributing a wealth of depth to any décor. The piece is wrapped within a black metal frame, playfully contrasting the lustrous artwork.
